Evidence/Based Healthcare

Project Content:

Clinical trials and routine health-care data for an optimal treatment. Clinical care should be based on appropriate evidence, obtained from large clinical trials. Therefore, the SC-FNH aims to include patients in clinical trials, in order to improve management. Furthermore, routine data for children in Saxony are used to analyse the current situation and to define need for future research. The SC-FNH is part of a large collaborative network for clinical trials (together with CPCS, Tübingen), the German Neonatal Network and the Forschungsnetzwerk der DGPM. The different projects have been funded in the past by Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF), Bundesministerium für Gesundheit (BMG), AOK Bundesverband. Current projects are funded by European Union (Horizon 2020).
