Feto/neonatal Growth

Improving clinical care in pregnant woman at risk of fetal growth restriction. The Feto-Neonat-Pfad provides structured care for pregnant woman at risk of IUGR. It starts at 10 weeks of gestation and ends at one year of age of affected infants. It includes standard care provided by prenatal specialists, obstetricians, neonatologists, paediatrician and psychologists. The project is support with about 5 Mill. € by the Innovationsfonds des Gemeinsamen Bundesausschusses. The clinical path is further used to study the impact of fetal growth restriction on long term outcome. Therefore, a cohort is established in which data on bio-markers, pharmacokinetics and inflammatory response is available.
