Feto/neonatal Resilience

Project Content:

Improving long-term development by a comprehensive psycho-social support program A dedicated parental support system has been scientifically developed and implemented. After proving efficacy and showing reduction in health-care-costs, translation into clinical routine in Germany was promoted by defining components of the program within an AWMF-guideline (024-027) and ensuring payment within a special OPS-number. Currently, the work focuses on implementing a web-based training program and adapting the offer for infants with congenital anomalies who require surgical repair. In the past, funding was provided by BMBF and BMG, currently the project is supported by Bild Hilft e.V.. The project has received several awards, including the Goldene Henne, the PauLA-award and the Innovationspreis (2019)

NeoDiary App

The NeoDiary app is designed to capture the special moments and precious memories of the first weeks of your newborn. Users can record their feelings, experiences, and observations during this unique time in text form. The application also allows linking entries to activities and uploading photos and videos of the newborn to create visual memories. By creating a growing gallery, the app documents the progress and development of the baby. The ability to upload videos enables capturing moving moments. Special milestones can also be saved to create a deeper level of remembrance. The NeoDiary app allows users to share photos, videos, and milestones with family and close friends, protected by a password. Additionally, all entries can be synchronized with a partner to jointly maintain a diary.

The app is supported by the DSKN.

Further information can be found on the website.
