Administrative Coordination/Technical Assistance (f/m/x)

The Else Kröner-Fresenius Center for Digital Health (EKFZ), a joint center of the Carl Gustav Carus Medical Faculty of Dresden University of Technology and Dresden University Hospital, promotes translational and interdisciplinary research in the field of digital medicine and health. The center, which is funded by the Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation, cooperates closely with many hightech specialists in Dresden's research environment and aims to strengthen and promote cooperation with university medicine. In this way, technical innovations are to benefit patients even more quickly.

Starting at the next possible time, we are looking for a

Administrative Coordination/Technical Assistance (f/m/x) 

in full- or part-time employment, Remuneration is in accordance with the classification regulations of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L). 

Your tasks will essentially include the support of research activities as well as sorting, preparing and digitising tumour tissue sections for their analysis using AI. In addition, you will be responsible for general laboratory organisation and other administrative tasks, in particular general assistance tasks (answering the telephone, office organisation, scheduling and e-mail correspondence), organising, preparing and postprocessing of meetings, appointments and events, supporting employees in planning and preparing business trips as well as for the administration and coordination of employees and guests.

Your profile:

  • successfully completed training ideally as an MTA, MTLA, BTA or comparable qualification with professional experience in the commercial sector or successfully completed training in the administrative or commercial sector with an interest in scientific topics
  • structured, results-orientated and reliable way of working and service orientation
  • sense of responsibility, commitment and very good communication skills
  • very good written and spoken English skills
  • scientific knowledge to understand research content and communication with scientists
  • experience in interdisciplinary work in a clinical environment, in interprofessional and solution-oriented work
