1st Dresden master course for CARINA – unique fully implantable hearing aid

Leading otosurgeons were visiting the Dresden ORL-HNS clinic and the ERCD this week to learn about the CARINA fully implantable hearing aid. With 39 successful implantations (and counting), Dresden ORL-HNS is the clinic with the most implanted patients in the world for the  CARINA- System so far. Professor Zahnert and his staff demonstrated the challenging middle ear surgery at the brand-new operation tract of the Dresden University, which offers the newest and most advanced technical features in ear surgery  in all of Europe. Hands-on classes and advanced lectures conveyed to the participants the cutting edge knowledge of the our expert surgeons and scientists.
