ORL researcher participate in a robotic workshop in Paris
From 24 to 25 February 2022, Prof. Thomas Zahnert, head of the ORL clinic and Dr. Christoph Müller, junior research group leader, participated in a robotic workshop conducted by Collin Medical. During the two days of hands-on lab training and visiting surgery at the ORL clinic of the Hôpital Universitaire Pitié Salpêtrière both researchers gained a valuable insight into the potential applications of the RobOtol® as a surgical assistance system during stapesplasty, tympanoplasty or CI surgery.
The RobOtol® - a remote manipulator - is a convincing invention with the ability to open the door wide into a future where the dream of robotic ORL surgery becomes true.
Stay tuned to upcoming news on planned translational experimental and clinical research with the RobOtol®.
